Blood test

 

You do not wish to wait at the CLSC or hospital for blood and urine test? No problem, you can now take an appointment at the centre médical Champlain and avoir the long line ups. We offer the service of sampling of blood for most of the tests asked by doctors. 

 

The appointments are available from 7 am to 11 am from Monday to Friday. To take an appointent or for more information, please contact us at (450) 672-9710 from 10 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 5 pm during the week.

 

After receiving the blood test requisition from your doctor, you can call us to schedule an appointment for your blood sampling and show up on the day and time of your appointment at the Centre Médical Champlain. We do blood, urine and stools sampling. The samples will be sent to the Charles-Le Moyne hospital to be analyzed. The hospital will then forward the results directly to the doctor who prescrbided the requisition.

 

Do not forget to check whether you should be fasting (no foor nor drink 8 to 12 hours before the blood test, only water permitted).

 

This service is covered by most of the private and collective insurance. Ask us a receipt upon arrival.
